We took a Sunday drive to escape the heat. 30+ degree temperature drop when we got to Brainard Lake which sits just over 10,000 ft. The drive only took about an hour. We all enjoyed the intermittent drizzling rain and Archie loved splashing in the water. He'd go in head first if we would let him.
