Evie is improving her rollover skills and has started scooting short distances. Shortly before I took this picture, she was on her back in the center of her play mat. As you can see, she ended up outside the approved zone.



Evie has discovered her toes and sometimes she just hangs out with her feet up in the air.






There's a saying in NYC, "It's easy to be a Yankees fan, it takes a person of character to root for The Mets." Last Saturday's game was a testament to this. The Mets vs. Cardinals game went a lengthy 20 innings, and was scoreless until the 19th. Erik said it was the most bizarre game he has ever seen. Evie got a tutorial as Erik commentated the game for her.






We got Evie an exersaucer and it has quickly become her entertainment of choice. We call it her office, as she is always very busy when she is in it. I also call it the Circle of Neglect, as it affords me some brief moments of freedom. Her favorite feature is the animal sounds and songs. Her delight is worth the incessant playing of "Old McDonald" that I now sing in my sleep.
