We were glad for the fog as we spent our last afternoon at the zoo. We were pleasantly surprised by the exhibits and grateful for the level layout. A number of the exhibits had signs posted requesting that visitor be quiet and respectful of the animals. This concept was a challenge for Evie as she was eager to communicate with the gorillas in their native tongue. Beside the gorillas, her favorite exhibits were probably the lions, tigers and the meerkats.
