Just south of Longmont is a place called Sunflower Farm. It is a working farm that is open to the public and is set up for little kids to explore. We could feed all of the animals except for the horses and pigs, who bite. Evie was content to let us do the feeding but was eager to refill our corn supply. She loved chasing the chickens around and worked on expanding her animal sounds repertoire. We plan on making this a regular outing through the fall.
