Evie 1st Plane Trip

At the ripe old age of 6 months, Evie has made her inaugural plane trip. She traveled like a champ! The carseat took some getting used to, but considering she hadn't been strapped into one since February, we thought she handled it rather well. Not to mention, we flew 3,000 miles, drove 600 miles and slept in 4 different cities all in the span of 10 days. Erik and I on the other hand are exhausted.... still.

We managed to see nearly all of our relatives living in Nebraska and Colorado. Because of the aforementioned time and travel constraints, we were unable to see our families that hail from Kansas. We apologize to those we missed and hope to see many of you this holiday season.



Interesting side note: A HUGE German Shepherd rode in the front row of our flight from Milwaukee to Omaha. We suspect it was a police or rescue dog. It never made a sound, sat up in the seat and looked out the window.
